Keystone Ski Resort
Keystone Resort has three mountains and a variety of terrain that caters to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Ski by daylight or moonlight, take a lesson, or explore the new Bergman Bowl, which features a high-speed detachable chairlift, 16 new trails, and more than 500 acres of terrain. The award-winning A51 terrain park features jumps, rails, and boxes that are designed for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.
Vail Mountain
Just a little less than an hour away, Vail Mountain is the area’s most popular resort. Soar down the four-mile Riva Ridge or opt for a slow-and-steady pace on one of the beginner slopes near the front of the mountain. The resort’s iconic Back Bowls offer intermediate to expert-level skiing in an expansive and remote setting. Vail also has a variety of other terrain, including groomed runs, moguls, glades, and terrain parks.
Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek offers more than 1,800 acres of skiable terrain, including its signature run, Birds of Prey, the site of multiple World Cup races. The resort also boasts a convenient village-to-village ski experience, allowing skiers to explore other nearby resorts with one convenient pass. Just make sure you’re back at Beaver Creek by 3 p.m. to claim your complimentary, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies at the bottom of the Centennial Express.
Breckenridge Ski Resort
Breckenridge’s warm and welcoming vibe expands across its five peaks, encompassing a 10-mile range. With 34 lifts and more than 2,900 acres of skiable terrain, Breckenridge Ski Resort plays host to beginning, intermediate, and advanced skiers. High-speed lifts mean more time skiing and less time standing in line. More than 300 inches of annual snowfall promise skiers, snowboard, tubers, and snowshoers a top-notch adventure.
Keystone Tennis Center
Keystone Tennis Center’s two indoor tennis courts and eight seasonal outdoor courts cater to racket enthusiasts all year round. They offer private lessons and drop-in clinics for adults, as well as junior clinics for kids. Note that the center’s low-key dress code emphasizes clothes you can move in–and at these high altitudes, the center sells high-altitude balls for that perfect bounce.
Spa and Salon
Visit the Alpenglow Spa for an all-over glow. Find your zen with specialties like the NuFace Cellular Lift Facial, a.k.a. “Pilates for your face,” or the Detoxifying Scrub and Massage. Take care of your body and mind without leaving the resort.
Snow Fort
Grab the kiddos or unleash your inner child while exploring the world’s largest mountain-top snow fort at Dercum Mountain. Head over to nearby Summit House to recharge with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Be sure to check out the newest snow fort addition at the Mountain House base area.
Tubing
When is tubing more than tubing? When your group’s unbridled smiles and joy make it an outing for the books. Check in at River Run Village for an all-ages date with joy. Please check the website for restrictions.
Nordic Center
Take a break from the downhill skiing and head off onto the wintery trails of the Keystone Nordic Center. This winter wonderland extends more than 17 kilometers of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. If off-roading is your thing, set off on the 40 kilometers of nearby backcountry trails through the White River National Forest. Or, leave the skiing for later and take advantage of the center’s snowshoeing with a guided tour.
Sleigh Rides
It’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with your whole group. Travel though the Soda Creek Valley’s crisp winter air and absorb your guide’s knowledge of the region’s history. What sleigh ride would be complete without a hot-beverage pit stop? Enjoy hot cider at an original Keystone homestead to complete this winter wonderland escape.
Ice Skating
Keystone Lake’s spectacular setting, nestled into the majestic Rockies, makes this a skate to remember. No skates? No worries since the facility rents out ice skates, training-assist stands, child-pull sleds, and hockey sticks and pucks.
Dining and Shopping
Burgers or BBQ, elegant or easy. No matter your dining priority, the resort’s more than 15 restaurants mean you can enjoy a quick bite before hitting the slopes or savor a craft cocktail après-ski. Family-friendly pizza and burgers butt up against elegant dinners served in an 1800’s stagecoach stop. Shoppers can pick up unique gifts, as well as the latest sports equipment at one of the resort’s retail shops.
Gondola Rides
Think climbing a mountain has to be hard? Kick back and breathe in the mountain air as you climb the Rockies from the comfort and convenience of the Keystone’s gondola. The 11,640 feet ascent invites you to take in views of Lake Dillon, the Continental Divide, and the Ten Mile Range. Make a day of it and pack a lunch. Just be sure to check the resort’s website for hours of operation.
Golfing
Take a swing at the resort’s two golf courses. Blue skies for miles and jagged mountain backdrops alight the Keystone River Course. The par-35 front nine hugs the Snake River and the par-36 back nine meanders through a lodgepole pine forest. If you want a dose of history with your day on the links, book a tee time at the Keystone Ranch Golf Course. Outbuildings from the area’s homesteading past still dot the par-72 course today.
Mountain Biking
Take the adventure downhill at the Keystone Bike Park. The progression-focused terrain caters to everyone from families looking for a day on the mountain to experts charging at full speed through technical rock gardens, drops, and high-speed features.
Hiking
Grab a map and set off on one of Keystone’s alpine trails. Take the Dercum Summit Hiking Trail’s 2.3-mile, 180-foot ascent and be rewarded with sweeping Rocky Mountain views.
River Run Village
Pan for gold, bounce the day away, or chip and put when you book a day at River Run Village. Round out the day with a run of mini-golf. Passes are available to bundle the fun.
Water Sports
Stand up, sit down, or strap in for water fun at Lakeside Village. Rent stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, or canoes. Take the fun on land and rent bikes, or play giant Jenga or cornhole. If all the sports and games take their toll, relax in one of the lake’s hammocks for an afternoon snooze.
Summer Tubing
If the warm weather has you missing snow, check out Keystone’s summer tubing, Colorado’s only summer tubing on real snow. Perfect for kids and adults, Keystone brings the winter fun to your group.
Horseback Rides
Calling all Wild West fans! Trail rides, wagon rides, and plenty of horse time are all on the docket when you spend a morning, afternoon, or day exploring the Rockies on horseback. Guides share not only riding knowledge but also the valley’s history, so saddle up for this unique adventure.

Property Damage Waiver
Enjoy peace-of-mind with our incidental damage protection.
SkyRun includes a property damage protection waiver on each reservation. The damage waiver covers damage to the property up to $1,500 so long as the damage is accidental and reported to SkyRun prior to your departure. It does not cover damage that is willful, the result of negligence, or damaged caused by the misuse of household items. It also doesn’t cover unreported damage. SkyRun doesn’t charge our guests a refundable damage deposit in lieu of the waiver. Unlike a refundable damage deposit, the damage protection waiver is nonrefundable.
If during your rental of our property, you damage the real or personal property assigned to that property, SkyRun will cover the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to an amount not to exceed $1,500. Should the cost of the damage exceed $1,500 or does not meet the criteria for a “covered loss”, and the property owner’s insurance policy also does not cover the loss, then you shall be responsible for the full amount of the damage which will be charged to the credit card on file. Coverage is provided to you and all traveling companions that are staying in the home overnight during your stay.
Coverage is not provided for loss due to:
- Your intentional acts or gross negligence.
- Any damage that occurs if you are in violation of the terms and conditions (including but not limited to having more than maximum occupancy or having a party).
- Loss, theft or damage to any personal effects owned by you or brought on the covered stay by you.
- Loss, theft or damage caused by any person other than you or your traveling companions with whom you share the property reservation unless substantiated by a police report.
Your Duties in the Event of Damage. You must:
- Take all reasonable, necessary steps to protect the property and prevent further damage to it.
- Report the loss in writing (email ok) prior to check-out to the SkyRun staff.
- Provide us documentation such as pictures to substantiate the claim.
